Ogata Megumi For every great character there needs to be a great seiyuu. Truthfully, no other seiyuu would have been better suited to voice Kurama than Ogata Megumi. She is quite the popular seiyuu in both Japan and America and has played some of the most memorable roles as seen below. Since her voice can do various ranges, she has been known to play as young boys or in Haruka's case a female with boyish tendencies. She has also released six solo albums and has appeared in many soundtracks and CD singles. She delivers a wonderful performance as the soft-spoken Kurama in his Shuiichi persona, which is also her debut role as a seiyuu and possibly her most popular role.

A Few Famous Roles:
Aa Megami-sama: young Morisato Keiichi
Card Captor Sakura: Tsukishiro Yukito
Evangelion: Ikari Shinji
Flame of Recca: Aki
Magic Knight Rayearth: Princess Emeraude and Eagle
Megami Paradise: Juliana
Sailor Moon: Ten'ou Haruka (Sailor Uranus)
Samurai Deeper Kyo: Sanada Yukimura and Anoyama Kousuke
Yugioh: Mutou Yuugi
Yu Yu Hakusho: Kurama

Now Kurama has more than one Japanese seiyuu. His Youko persona is voiced by Shigeru Nakahara, whom I have to say has one of the sexiest voices I've ever heard. When he speaks as Youko I have shivers go through me and I feel as though I could melt. He has played in various other roles but the most notable one I'd have to say would be Trowa Barton of Gundam Wing fame. I hope to find more information on him since he doesn't seem to be that well known in the states.

Information on John Burgmeier, Kurama's English VA, coming soon.
